Sustainability

Sustainable design provides financial rewards that include lower energy, water and operating expenses. The benefits of a lower carbon footprint extend beyond savings to include higher customer and employee retention and attraction, increased productivity, longer building lifetimes, lower risks and increased asset value.

Sustainable design can be achieved through reclaimed products such as carpet made from recycled content, renewable hard-surface flooring, and millwork and paint free from chemicals such as formaldehydes and volatile organic compounds. Reclaimed water, low-flow toilets and motion-controlled lighting also are used to reduce carbon footprint.
