Savills Studley's in-house project management ensures accountability and cost savings by acting as a single point of contact during the design and construction phase of the project, overseeing all construction, engineering, technology and interior design projects – where hidden costs can accumulate if not carefully monitored.

The Project Management Process

Our project management team becomes involved early in the real estate process to protect your interests throughout the project from initial consultation to move in. Our expertise and attention to detail result in a space that fulfils your business goals and objectives on time and on budget.

  • Project Schedule & Budget: Schedule and budget govern all projects Savills Studley undertakes. The schedule includes all project milestones and a detailed list of tasks. The budget, updated throughout the project, includes components such as construction, technology, furniture, professional fees, A/V, move, etc.
  • Consultant Team: We qualify and assist in the selection of a formal interior designer as well as mechanical, electrical, engineering and specialty consultants. After engagement, we review and manage these specialists to ensure accountability.
  • Space Planning: Using information gleaned from initial consultations and needs analysis survey, our project management team assists the interior design consultant in creating space plans that will inform the project going forward.
  • Tender Process & RFP Review: The Savills Studley project management team manages the tender process to determine who will construct and outfit the space. This includes assisting in creating the RFP and advising your executive team through the bid analysis and award process. We provide a detailed financial summary of all proposals for your review and approval. Upon the successful engagement of the project’s contractor, we review the contracts and handle any changes that affect the project.
  • Construction: Our project management team oversees the construction phase of the project, ensuring it not only is completed on time and on budget, but fulfills your vision and expectations. Savills Studley tasks include:
    • Site reviews to confirm installation is in accordance with design drawings
    • Ensuring all information is successfully managed to allow for the creation of documentation in accordance with the project schedule
    • Managing contracts and suppliers to ensure costs are well within budget
  • Deficiency Clean Up: Our project management team is accountable during every phase of the project—including its clean up and inspection. Savills Studley conducts a final review of construction and furniture for deficiencies and works with contractors and suppliers to address any identified issues. Once certification of completion is delivered, you are presented with record documents, completion certificates, and project/equipment manuals. A project closeout manual provides a final accounting summary of your project.
